About Us
At Little World Play Café, we believe play is powerful, and community matters just as much. Inspired by Montessori teachings, our almost 2,400 sq ft space is thoughtfully designed as a pretend play village where children can play, explore, and let their imagination take the lead.
Through open-ended, hands-on experiences, we encourage independence, creativity, and confidence in every child.
Our space is designed for children ages 0 to 10, with a dedicated, gated area for little ones under 18 months so they can play safely and comfortably. Every area is intentionally created to support age-appropriate exploration and development.
Our café was created not only for children to explore and grow, but for their caregivers too. While little ones engage in imaginative, child-led play, caregivers are invited to slow down, relax, and connect with one another in a warm, welcoming café environment. We aim to create a space where families can get out of the house, socialize, and build meaningful connections within a supportive community.
With a mix of traditional café seating and a cozy lounge area complete with couches and comfortable chairs, Little World is more than just a play space. It’s a place to gather, feel supported, and create lasting memories together.
What is a Play Café?
A play café is a family-friendly space that combines imaginative play for children with a comfortable café environment for caregivers. While children explore thoughtfully designed play areas, caregivers can relax, connect, and enjoy a coffee or snack...without having to choose between playtime and downtime. Play cafés are designed to be safe, welcoming, and community-focused, making them the perfect place for families to spend quality time together.
What is Montessori?
Montessori is an approach to education that focuses on child-led learning, independence, and hands-on exploration. Instead of traditional teaching methods, children are encouraged to choose activities that interest them, learn at their own pace, and develop practical life skills in a thoughtfully prepared environment.
Created in the early 1900s by the Italian doctor and educator, Maria Montessori. She believed that children learn best through real-life experiences, movement, and discovery rather than direct instruction. Her methods emphasize respect for the child, freedom within limits, and fostering natural curiosity.

Hi, I’m Nicole!
Owner and creator of Little World.
Little World was inspired by the space I wish existed when I was on maternity leave. As a mom of two, I know how isolating that season can feel, and I wanted to create somewhere that’s not just for kids, but for caregivers too. A place where little ones can play, explore, and use their imagination, while parents feel comfortable, welcomed, and supported.
With a background in Business Administration (Accounting) and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, building something of my own has always been a dream of mine. Little World is a reflection of what I look for as a parent — warm, thoughtful, family-focused, and community-driven.
